What happens when the hunted become the hunters? What happens when an uncorrupted eredar chooses to walk a path similar to that of the kaldorei demon hunters? This story explores the beginning of that concept.

Ever since the draenei were announced before Burning Crusade's launch, I have always wondered what a draenei demon hunter would be like. Logically, if a night elf or blood elf runs the risk of becoming demonic by the infusion of fel-energies, and if the man'ari eredar are ALREADY demons, how would a draenei demon hunter be any different than a man'ari eredar?

This short was written as the foundation for a story character I created to explore that question.

This specific text was written in response to a bit of RP with Jelanthea, a draenei who seeks to walk the path. During an unfortunately truncated scene, Tharion handed her a piece of parchment written by Saira, the main character in the "We Become Man'ari" stories.

We Became Man'ari (you will notice the tense change) is that very text.
