Netherbane Site Credits
The Netherbane site, guild, and legacy would not be possible without the contributions of the following people and organizations:
- |
| Richard Powell - a.k.a. "Tharion Greyseer" - Site designer. CSS Layout and code, HTML layout and code, javascript code, and site graphics designer. Author of Timeline and character text entries, as well as various stories, comics, and movies (see individual works for specific credits).
- |
| Richard Powell - a.k.a. "Tharion Greyseer" - Shan'do, guildmaster, and founder. Guild history Storyteller and RPer. Liason to Black Temple or Bust and SASU (on occasion). New member contact and recruiter.
- |
| "Atrias" / "Arlinas" - Not only were you one of the earliest members, but you were also one of the few who came over from our previous guild. Always pleasant, your friendly demeanor always appreciated.
- |
| "Avlina" - How could I ever forget perhaps one of the sweetest characters Tharion ever had the pleasure of meeting? Wherever you've gone, know that you are missed.
- |
| "Delora" - You were one of the few people who maintained any form of contact with Tharion during my sparse times on the server, close to when I thought I was leaving. I thank you for that interaction, as it kept me around in game when little else could.
- |
| "Dominik" / "Thienal" - Tharion may have rarely frequented the Laughing Jester, but that doesn't mean I do not appreciate the sheer effort it took to keep something like that going in the face of a sometimes unreasonable community. In addition, the conversations with Thienal were some of the better experiences I've had.
- |
| "Drahliana" - Drahliana is perhaps one of the few night elves who treats Tharion as he truly is, a demon hunter. You play the interaction well, and I cannot express my appreciation for that contrasting attitude.
- |
| "Durmeth" - Where would we be without the Netherbane's fearless tank? Still stonewalling on the 45 minute Stratholme run, most likely! I appreciate your unconditional support and willingness to sacrifice for the greater of the group, man. I thank you.
- |
| "Dwailin" - I have no idea where you've gone to, but RPing with you was always a pleasure. You were the first person I ever recruited into a guild (as Lokker, way back in the day), and will always be remembered fondly. Safe travels wherever you may be.
- |
| "Elithe Lightstroke" / "Elishtar Fangblade" - You were arguably one of the most enthusiastic members ever in our ranks, and your portrayal of Elishtar as desiring to be Tharion's student set the tone for the "school" that was to come. Thanks, man.
- |
| "Fethas" - For nearly a year you were the only one left who paid attention to any of the Netherbane RP, and I cannot overlook your contributions in terms of interest and of loyalty. You're an important part of the guild, Feth. My thanks are with you.
- |
| "Lannia" - It is difficult to express the appreciation I have for someone willing to step in and do the often-times boring job of healing a group of reckless DPSers, tanks, and brittle-boned red birds named Blood. In addition to your always pleasant attitude, this makes you and Durm two of the most valuable members of the guild as a whole. Thank you.
- |
| "Lohk" - You were the first other demon hunter I had met on Earthen Ring, and your early support of the concept and the Netherbane as a guild will never be forgotten. You, too, have not been forgotten.
- |
| "Meris" - Someone whom I know worked hard behind the scenes to try and help keep RP alive on the server. I wish more people could have been a bit less blind to your contributions to Earthen Ring's Alliance side RP as a whole.
- |
| "Rook" - Rook's RP legacy still affects members of the Netherbane to this day. Yours was an intriguing character, the first to ever allow Tharion to permanently kill (not something I've ever taken for granted). Rook's influences lives on to this day.
- |
| "Rutarin" - Rut, you're still a member even if you've long since officially left the ranks of the Netherbane. Your story contributions to the forums are always appreciated. I salute you and your service, man. Be well in your life outside of Azeroth.
- |
| "Sherilla" - Lokker's encounters with Sherilla were always enjoyable ones, and I'll never forget your contributions to the server's RP as a whole. I wish more people realized all you had done behind the scenes to keep things interesting for the community.
- |
| "Stardancer" - You have perhaps been one of the strongest promoters of Tharion in general, and I cannot put into words how deeply I appreciate all you've done. The Netherbane wouldn't be the same without your support or the support of ALL of the House of Stormrage.
- |
| "Syrnia" / "Nycti" - I actually was about to leave on the very day that you contacted me. You kept me around in-game, and provided some of the most memorable humorous RP I've ever experienced. You definitely taught me to keep a much lighter side to the roleplay, and it's something I've tried to do since.
- |
| "Taijiang" - Someday, Tai, we can actually figure a logical way for our characters to work together. But working behind the scenes with you to help create server "world events" was a great pleasure, and it's that previous interaction that has made you an example by which I try to lead.
- |
| "Tanixa" - Ah, who could forget the kaldorei woman slowly becoming more draconic? Tanixa was always fun to RP with, and her absence is truly felt. Wherever you have gone, know that you are missed. Be well.
- |
| "Vixeena" / "Remia" - Never have I not looked forward to interacting with you on either Remia or Vixeena. You are perhaps one of the few in-character Tharion supporters still remaining, and you are ever appreciated.
- |
| "Vyrella" - You were the earliest supporter of my RP and set the precedent for in-character interactions. Your support, guidance, and company during those early months will never be forgotten, and neither will you. I hope all is well.
- |
| "Xythael" - You were a founding member of the Netherbane, and were a part of the guild during its most defining moments. Our existence and our history wouldn't quite be the same without what you gave us. I thank you.
- |
| "Zhuriel" / "Taldarion" / "Faeroh" - Helping you through the early days of your RP was as much a learning experience for me as it was for you, man. I appreciate that opportunity. I also appreciate all that you've contributed to the history and lore of the Netherbane as a whole. Our history would be drastically different without your participation.
